Overcoming Obstacles
Achieving participation often feels like a "battle against windmills." Since true inclusion in Germany still fails due to bureaucratic hurdles, it takes toughness and an absolute will to stand up for oneself.
Nothing symbolizes this agility and leaping power better than a cat. Our youth group has therefore designed its own logo for the area of participation: “Assassin’s Kitten” It stands for the strengths that define us as Autistics:
Loyalty
Endurance
Authenticity
and Fighting Spirit
Good luck in overcoming your obstacles!
Participation is a human right – not a pedagogical favor
Our Goal: The consistent implementation of inclusion for autistic children and adolescents.
We advocate for the recognition of participation benefits.
What we stand for:
Home instead of institution: Against full inpatient placement.
Acceptance instead of blame: Autism is not a parenting error.
Diversity instead of pathology: Moving away from the medical deficit model.
Segregation and pathologization are incompatible with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Therefore, we collect donations to provide information on the legal situation and to enforce it in court with specialized lawyers.

One for all – all for one!
Our Demand: Participation is not a parenting case Nationwide, autism is falsely classified as a "parenting difficulty" (SGB VIII). We demand the recognition of the legal basis of SGB IX (Rehabilitation and Participation).
Diagnosis instead of insinuation: Autistic behavior is not a parenting error and not a threat to child welfare. This is scientifically proven.
School instead of institution: It is the task of youth welfare to enable education and training, instead of deporting children to full inpatient homes or special schools.
Not a "tragic isolated case": The systematic criminalization of autistic families is a structural problem of high public interest.
Ongoing proceedings: We are currently conducting appeal and objection proceedings. We do not reject aid – we reject the wrong legal basis. Youth welfare services (e.g., distance learning or private school funding) must be provided as participation benefits based on the medically confirmed disability, not as a measure for educational failure.
We are collecting donations! 🦄🙏🌈
Purpose of use
We support legal proceedings in which parents sue for participation benefits instead of segregation. If a case is won, the funds from the proceedings, as well as any surplus donations, will only be used in accordance with our charitable purpose.
Every donation helps! - Thank you very much!
